Lunchbox Handbag
Lunchbox Handbag features a structured "box" shape and a reinforced top handle. The dense, expert crochet stitch provides a sophisticated sturdiness, allowing the bag to maintain its architectural form while remaining tactile and lightweight. Inspired by the clean, geometric lines of a classic lunch pail.
Dimensions
20 × 10 × 25 cm (L x W x H)
Material
Hemp fiber
Artisan
Soledad Torres — Simacota, Santander
Born into a lineage of weavers, Soledad grew up watching her mother craft the fique baskets and fishing nets that sustained their family. In 2001, she transformed that ancestral trade into her own workshop. Today, she leads a collective of 17 women who weave from their homes — turning a traditional livelihood into a living symbol of independence and cultural continuity.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve shape and color.
